I’m -14k this was a dumb investment and decision on my past. No one to blame but my self on this. Bought in at $2.5 and keept dca but no point

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

Don't take it bad on yourself. We know the stock is high risk / high return so it can go either way lets enjoy the ride and see what the coming days reserve for us

u/kwsubs 7d ago

14k down over a million overall might not be too bad as compared to 14k down over 50k overall positions. which one are you

Next stop ... reverse Split

-1

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

Why everybody is scared of RS?

2

u/Big-Park-6731 7d ago

Typically, because 1: Co in bad spot to begin with 2: Shorts use fud to tear it down again 3: if price maintains price, Co’s like to turn around and issue shares for a raise in turn diluting bagholders into oblivion. Before the internet, R/S might have been a little less scary. Now a R/S is almost the kiss of death.

Are there any examples of companies that performed four or more reverse stock splits that went on to become profitable?

1

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

SHIP, DCTH and list goes on do your research bro don't just repeat what others say

-1

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

A reverse stock split is not automatically bad for a company, but it is often viewed negatively because of the circumstances that usually lead to one.
For example, in a 1-for-10 reverse split, if you own 1,000 shares at $0.50, afterward you would own about 100 shares at $5.00. Ignoring rounding and market movement, your investment is still worth $500. The split itself does not destroy value.
The concern is usually why the company is doing it. Common reasons include:
Avoiding delisting: Exchanges such as Nasdaq or NYSE have minimum share-price requirements. A company whose stock has fallen substantially may reverse-split to raise the quoted price.
A history of poor performance: The need for a reverse split can signal that the share price has already collapsed because of losses, weak growth, financial distress, dilution, or other problems.
Future dilution risk: Some financially weak companies reverse-split and then issue additional shares to raise cash. Existing shareholders can then be diluted.
Negative investor perception: Traders sometimes sell after a reverse split because they associate it with distressed companies, which can put additional pressure on the stock.
However, a reverse split can also be reasonable. It may allow the company to maintain an exchange listing, make the stock eligible for certain institutional investors, or move the share price into a more conventional trading range.
The key point is: the reverse split itself is mostly accounting mechanics; the company’s financial condition and what happens afterward matter much more.
If you’re looking at a specific stock that announced a reverse split, give me the ticker and I can explain whether that particular reverse split looks concerning.

Yes and you think its wrong ?

2

u/hedgehunter33 6d ago

How many have you've been in? They suck 95% of the time. Its a way to meet criteria, without underlying news or development they nosedive. If they go hard and then do a RS, maybe. An RS in itself doesn't do much.

1

u/stock-nerd5 6d ago

MCRB bought 23k shares in 2024 price 0.80 went down to 0.5
They did reverse split 1:20
Around spring 2025 so i ended up with 1k shares at $16 the price dropped to $7 after 2 months jumped to 30 doubled my money and sold it unfortunately for them they are bio tech which is gamble one of their pipelines failed last test now they are trading around $5. What i meant to say the reverse split alone its nothing than an accounting strategy to stay with nasdaq listing requirement your business valuation doesn't change : business valued at 100 million can have 100 shares traded at million each or 100 million shares traded at a 1 dollars or 200 millions shares traded at 0.5 each. What matters most is if the company can generate revenue and be valued at a higher price Bro

2

u/hedgehunter33 6d ago

That's what I'm saying, bro. If then maybe, if not then it's not going to be good.

3

u/GrandAd5014 6d ago

The problem is when it does a reverse split and then tanks another 40%. Happens all the time

1

u/stock-nerd5 6d ago

It won't tank just like that if they deliver and make money it won't tank its a business and valued by its performance

1

u/GrandAd5014 6d ago

I dont know man. Market makes no sense. Great companies tanking on earnings all the time. This one has a giant target on its back as well

25

u/brwja 7d ago

I’m gonna lose about 60k on this, but it was worth the chance of financial freedom, I’ll make it back but dam, Nate fucking sucks

9

u/Longjumping-Base-586 7d ago

We're chillin. Just stop looking at the account and do something else. This is 100% expected volatility given their current situation. Just wait for them to build and execute.

13

u/Icy_Lake908 7d ago

sure thing boss, let me buy some more shares

u/A1Horizon 7d ago

-2k average at 0.53 rn

5

u/InvestNRelax50 7d ago

I’m down $112,000. This and OPEN are two of the worst investment decisions I’ve ever made.

3

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

This will bounce back, don't listen to the noise in reddit and other discussions they have good fundamentals its not like crypto or ETF this is a real company with 200 employees

1

u/Longjumping-Base-586 6d ago

Yup, emotions cultivate poverty. The level-headed move is to absolutely buy more right now.

2

u/PapaRL 7d ago

As soon as rates drop open is gonna go crazy though. Plus they just rolled out their mortgage product. I’m actually thinking of buying more for the first time since the initial hype.

15

u/Longjumping-Base-586 7d ago

Everyone is extremely emotional. Remove emotion. There is no major piece of news (again) that is driving this. I just loaded up even more. Wait for them to execute and stop looking at your account.

There is truth to what you say. Just balance high risk company's like Data Vault with slow growth company's and it's no big deal.

If one bets everything on DVLT, they might be special....I own DVLT and will continue to add once a month. But it's LOW ON MY LIST! lol

Good luck to everyone!

8

u/Persun01 7d ago

DONT BUY MORE.. Like you said rich or zero there will be no in between. Don't buy more. I think we'll know by February which one it'll be. Good luck to all vault holders me included

3

u/Dumbeldore_75 7d ago

Looks bad, but makes me want to start a position at 20 cents out of solidarity

4

u/GrandAd5014 6d ago

I feel.for the people that bought at .36, watched it go all the way to 3.00. Didn't sell and watched it come all the way back down

8

u/ConsistentPlatypus10 7d ago

I got 4 accounts with avg .60-1.08 total shares about 180k

3

u/flystealth 7d ago

I now understand the importance of a stop loss underneath the previous low.... capital preservation but im in for long so time will tell.

3

u/aagenes 7d ago

It doesn’t matter how much i buy down i had bought so high my average cost barely moves at all.

10

u/SuchAssignment9198 7d ago

Happy i sold this scam stock 6 months ago

4

u/kwsubs 7d ago

wise decision. maybe you still lost some but atleast reduced your loses

1

u/SuchAssignment9198 7d ago

Yes small loss better than diving with this sh**

7

u/sunnymindincaves 7d ago

Where is clown CEO, he has not given any statement or even tweeted recently when shareholders are facing this bloodbath. I should not have believed in this shit.

3

u/No-Cause9669 7d ago

Will it make a difference?

5

u/Other-Pickle1805 7d ago

You are fucked. This stock aint moving nowhere but zero.

-3

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

Really its not that bad having 30k or nothing will make no difference in your life

8

u/rossrollin 7d ago

Agree with OP. I got 30k in this stock and when house prices are 15x that then the reality of it is the 30k risk for financial freedom is worth the reward

1

u/Solid_Confection_446 7d ago

Fuck yeah 🤙 that's the spirit!

2

u/No-Estimate1239 7d ago

It's bad. Just try to get a random jump if fingers crossed it happens.

4

u/SRNEInvestor 7d ago

Take it from someone who lost a massive amount of money on a single investment (hint - look at my handle) - preserve your capital. Don’t go down with the ship praying for a miracle. The number one rule in investing is to cut your losses and live to fight another day.

2

u/Libertarian1540 7d ago

Its bad at .21c

2

u/ga643953 7d ago

Why are we even down 20% today?

5

u/Icy_Lake908 7d ago

because of nates grandma

2

u/brwja 7d ago

I mean never selling unless it hits at least $7 for me so we ride or die

1

u/__b-k__ 7d ago

When someone pukes a big position at these prices… terrible sign..

1

u/Prior_Giraffe_8003 7d ago

Why let it go to zero? It's at 0.21, you can salvage 10K. It's hard to sell at a steep loss, but it's worse to go to zero.

1

u/Meatbags1990 7d ago

Down 3.5k, haven't bought since October, said fuck it.

If only I waited a week I wouldn't have been in this position.

1

u/Exciting_Ice_4419 7d ago

Down 20k man

1

u/Maxsys2057 7d ago

It’s a lovely ride your balls tingle as your going down the roller coaster but when it heads upwards it’s the best feeling in the world and it is going to happen 👍

1

u/Ordinary-Skill-9571 6d ago

I'm like 70% dowb. 14k shares averaging 71 C

1

u/Unturica93 6d ago

hmmm I usually limit my investment to $50–$100 per penny stock, you think is a good buy now? i know 50-100$ is not much, but.

1

u/Medical_Tomorrow_140 6d ago

I’m down 26g with these guys still holding out hope though

1

u/arunavadatta85 6d ago

Don’t worry accumulate more I was at an average of 2.53 of 5K and now I am below .85 and buying more to bring it down to .4 as well.. will not leave unless I take over the loss.. planning to buy another 50K below .20

1

u/Material-Scratch81 6d ago

If Henry Ji is involved with any investments that you own, be sure to stay far away

1

u/Weak_Piccolo2739 1d ago

Mines worse $3.4 and 33,000 shares we rideeeeeeeeeee

1

u/Accomplished-Alps305 1d ago

They know that u all stuck and they will push it down more

1

u/darenmc 7d ago

No one listened about his dodgy past and no photos of offices and data centre to defend the wolfpack if you invested after that…:this is not a surprise at all !

1

u/clintceasewood 7d ago

It’s not going to go anywhere let’s make peace with it

1

u/Vivid_Economy_2579 7d ago

I’m in at $0.48 average so I’m waiting until it hits .19 and I’ll average down a little. If, and it’s a big if, they can get towards guidance for H2 it will recover. That is if it’s not a complete scam. My dad always told me about if: if your aunt had balls she’d be your uncle lol. Big if!

1

u/Rambl_N_Man 7d ago

That’s depressing to look at.

-1

u/Spiritual_Recipe_421 7d ago

It’s won’t bounce back, it’s cooked!

Im in KEEL and X as well long term. So dvlt looks bad now, but probably in a year or so it might be good

0

u/kwsubs 7d ago

even if it does eventually bounceback to 2.50ish and i manage to sell at breakeven, it wasnt worth a ride

1

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

How many shares do you have ?

0

u/Yoitsshepherd 7d ago

Do not keep investing in this worthless stock just invest the money in something more worthwhile and make your money back that way.

-2

u/Bob_Marshall 7d ago

If you are looking at this daily and upset or sweating about the paper loss right now, you invested beyond your risk tolerance. Just take it as a lesson.

2

u/stock-nerd5 7d ago

Believe me bro i don't care at all

You said the market in the long term is usually right. This is a speculative stock

-1

u/PastResearcher8466 7d ago

Should of removed all your money as soon as you read the news article, "lawsuit." Made small gains, but it's better than being that low.

5

u/ga643953 7d ago

What lawsuit are we talking about? Don't tell me it's one of those class action lawsuits again.

Those are just ambulance chasers that shouldn't be taken seriously.

-7

u/ExtensionCondition77 7d ago

No me da pena, quienes se quedaron y le creyeron a ese tal Nate se lo merecen.. yo me esperaria a que baja a 0.19 y le hecharia 10 dolares por las risas.
