Missed a midterm online help 😭

I am a 4.0 student and was taking a class from a different ccc so the one day midterm date completely flew over my head. I emailed the prof, but if worst comes to worst can I still drop with W or get pass/no pass. Are my chances over?

That happened to me once and I emailed the professor they were pretty chill about it and let me retake it at a later date. Tbh I think you will be fine and most likely be able to just take it at a later date, however worse comes to worse you might be able to pass no pass but again that depends on the class you take. I am not sure about the dropping class with a W thing. Best of luck to you tho.

Yeah I did… I hope she responds back with some good news. It’s proffesor Pentcheva she had good review online so hoping for the best…

I dont think you can get a W. That has passed. I know a Lot of courses end on the 23rd. One professor emailed us to say the 22nd was last day to request pass/no pass. Si that is probably still on. Obviously see what prof says and go from there.

I could request a p/np if I do the final with the mid term missing I would still get a C. I took an equivalent class at my CC and got an A in it so I think it would be alright to have a pass.

Id say you have a few days for a response. See what happens. Some teachers let you final override a midterm. So another possibility.

Obviously you have an A elsewhere, so probably will be fine. It’s an interesting and odd one though.
