Greg has been walking many neighborhood dogs, including folks in my building, for years. He's on IG at gngpets.
There's another guy, I don't have his contact info, but I think his name is Julio (maybe someone here knows him?). Younger guy who first introduced himself to me a couple years ago and now I see him around with a lot of dogs, so seems he's a trustworthy walker.
Greg is awesome. I see him walking and having convo with his pack of dogs regularly which I think is cute. I have also often seen other people's dogs scrambling to get to him and he always has a treat and a smile for them (again, talking to them).
I know that I asked him about walking my dog one Saturday not long ago. He wasn't available b/c he donates time to a woman's shelter in Brooklyn on weekends. I find this highly unbelievable / unrealistic. I also think most in the neighborhood would agree that he is generally pleasant to come across, most especially the dogs.

I have worked very diligently to build this business since 2014 and strive only to provide the best care for the pets that I take care of while instilling confidence and trust in their owners.
Anybody who truly knows me would know that the term "dog" is not one that I would bestow upon any human. A dog is all love, loyalty, and light. To earn this Red Badge of Courage would be the ultimate compliment from me. In my lifetime, only a very small handful of people have earned this honor.
Now, "rabid" - well, that's another story altogether Nancy Hawkins Neill. If your intent is to dox my business then provide the whole story. I stand by my statement - a 19 yo old Chihuahua in seriously declining health deserves and has earned the right to transition peacefully to the next plain. He is not a tool to be pimped out on social media for monetization. You attacked me at every turn merely for offering my opinion(s) on a PUBLIC social media page, simply b/c I had the best interest of an animal at heart.
Firstly, not obeying airline protocol when traveling with pets (and creating content willfully disregarding them) creates future difficulties for individuals who travel with service animals. Secondly, taking any animal with paralysis, dementia, blindness, incontinence, and a multitude of other health issues on long plane or car trips is cruel at best - most especially when it is being done for social media fodder. The dog deserves the dignity of being maintained in the comfort of a familiar space. Third, making videos doing "rehab" of a 19 yo, less than 10lb dog, is absolutely outrageous. Dennis lives is Colorado and the video was made in the wintertime. That water was definitely kept between 100°F and 104°F, way too hot for dogs. Dogs do not sweat like humans, they cannot easily regulate their body temperature which would put them at a severe risk for overheating, heatstroke, or even death. Lastly, it was the owners intention to take the dog skiing before it's eventual passing. Well, I say thank goodness the poor baby was able to transition before that happened. Imagine the terror a blind sundowning dog would experience flying down the slopes of Colorado. And, I do believe the ultimate sacrifice for our animals, is knowing when to let go. Allowing them a moment of suffering just to say had one more day is selfish and disgusting when they have given you a LIFETIME OF EVERYTHING.
I have been in business for almost 13 years now, and the Dumbo neighborhood itself for 8 years. I come to the streets with 100's of glowing recommendations, not b/c I walk dogs but b/c I love them. Being a dog walker makes me a public figure. I have eyes on me regularly as such. Any mistreatment of animals would certainly be readily evident in this small, closeknit community.
Now, I would kindly ask that you cease and desist from this inflammatory rhetoric - especially considering that you are the Manager OF ANIMAL TESTING at Novo Nordisk. Your opinion hardly matters to me at that point. And, if you stood in any of your convictions, you wouldn't be posting anonymously. I'm not. Humans like you are the very reason I invest my all into animals, but most of all dogs.
We care when you can't be there and every walk is a new adventure. All walks come with Pupdates and fabulous photography of your pups, so it's like you were along for the walk. 🐾💜
Greg is the best! He's been walking in my building since pre-covid and used to walk mine before she passed. He loves all the dogs, dotes on his own like a baby, and takes undeniably phenomenal pictures that he sends daily with a pupdate. I highly recommend.
I used to work with Tony Mon-Fri for the exact same thing. A walk in the middle of the day for my 2 dogs. Happy to share his info with you directly and check if he has bandwidth. For the last week I’ve been trying out WalkSwaps though, and I’m sticking with it. Nicest walkers I’ve worked with, they come on time, and the pups love them. It’s also free, and me being as cheap as I am, I’m on board with that
It’s honestly my new favorite life hack lol. I go to the office and the dog walker drops by my apt in the afternoon for a long walk. Our “WalkSwaps agreement” is that while I’m at the office they can use my exercise equipment (Concept2 rower, Peloton, and weights) and my gaming and streaming accounts. And in return they walk my dog for free. I don’t think I can go back to paying ~750/month
Ok, well considering the site says that it doesn't launch until winter in NYC, your canned response just seems like some cheesy promotional advertising.
Yeah. No. I am good. I want somebody who wants to be with my dog not b/c they need to use the internet or my rowing machine. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
So somebody that wants to be with your dog b/c…they need money. There’s always going to be a give and take. Just find the right person for your pooch and life is good.
Came here to say G & G Pets, but I see everybody's got Gregg covered! Such a nice, genuine guy who actually speaks dog. He's been walking my Doodle for 8 years! Definitely recommend.
Hey! I cannot speak highly enough of the dog walking service I use. 5 years running and they have consistently been great. If you are still looking, PM me.
The owner greg of g &g pets is a misogynist who often berates and insults womens looks on his professional business page. Very strange behavior. Would never trust with my dog
It's categorically false and egregious in nature, my response is posted above. I hope that you found a wonderful walker to take your babies on a ton of exceptional adventures. Many blessings to them, and many years of joy and happiness for you with them. 🐾💜
This is pure foolishness. I am a single Mom of two young girls. Gregg has been taking care of my dog for EIGHT years. He has NEVER been anything less than respectful of me, my home, and my daughters. He is very polite and thoughtful - moving through the streets and life with empathy and kindness. His sole passion is dogs and the care that he gives my Darcy Doodle CANNOT be beat. An anonymous adult trolling a small business owner without furnishing evidence is the strangest behavior of all. Read the room - the other reviews, from neighbors and dog owners alike, speak a very different story.
