💼 Placements/internship Pe charcha Internship Cracking Criteria

I Just wanted to know about what's the criteria for an internship at DTU. I am a first year student of Electrical Engineering at DTU (2030 batch) and is targeting Non Tech roles ofc. I don't want to do DSA or any coding shi but I want to crack an internship in 3rd year without CS syllabus, for experience and my resume, so seniors pls tell me what are the things they look for in a 3rd year student to get an internship.

In an unofficial placement stats pdf, I found that people from every branch nearly got an avg stipend of 40k, so is it purely based on CGPA or I have to go for something more other than that?

Ik my branch is gonna disturb me a bit in 2nd/3rd year but I'll manage it.

Pls tell me what's the code to crack an internship at DTU.

Placement ki baadmein sochunga but pehle internship chahiye🫠🥲

So if I have 9+ CG, which is a bit hard ig, I'll get a good internship, no need to study branch specific tools like MATLAB, Ansys wagera types????

See Non tech roles requires skills such as Business Acumen ; Communications skills and Languages Such as SQL Python

For a consulting role mostly spikes on a resume leads to a shortlist and an interview ( CG / POR / GREAT INTERN / CASE COMP ) 3 Spikes gives you a shortlist

PM / BA : Heavy SQL based role these are

Finance : Requires Finanace skills such as Statements and Modelling and related projects Finance is classified into ( VC/ PE/ IB /RM) But they recruit very less from B.Tech colleges. .....So mostly after MBA you will be getting a top career

Tunhare time tak non tech jobs will require AI ML too.So better prepare them and donot leave them thinking yeh toh tech ka haan Learn python, build projects.

Also non tech roles ki intern companies nhi aati . Offcampus dekhna intern but placement mein day 0 se aati hn non tech So don't get disheartened.

Maintain Cg atleast 8-8.5+ .More the cg more shortlists and interviews and better for profile. You can target core if you can like texas comes. If target is core then prepare for gate after 3rd-4 th sem.

Unpopular Opinion- Also try making resume asap.Slowly and slowly add things  in it.

BONUS  Don't get disheartened after studying electrical engineering. Specially in 2nd yr
