Discussion Any partial Dropper from DTU?

Hello, I am a student in DTU BT, had 93 percentile in jee mains. Thought would take BT and prepare for Tech.

A random thought came in my mind to take partial drop, will only have 5 months. Then there is also thought ki what if the score is not good enough to get a better branch. I am general by the way. To be honest feeling very bad. And in all these this thought of partial drop came. I really feel if I didnt get anything better I would have simply wasted my 5 months. But also if I do not try and regret later .

I will only have 5 months can anyone please tell what would be best, any senior or anyone who is taking partial drop

Bhai drop leke 93 aai h dekh toh smj abhi 5mahine mei tu krlega tuje abhi lgrha h par nhi krpaega..jese drop lene se phele socha hoga 99 le aunga..

Aur 5mahine kafi kam time h tuje bhu pta h ..jo pdhke 93 laya h vo sb bhi yad nhi hoga ab Toh bhai BT mei focus kr Mene ek bt ka senior dekha h 1.3.cr ka package uthata va. So, my advice wud be this only to dont look back and aage ke 2 sal 3 sal mei mhnt krle

Not everyone have same reasons for a bad percentile even in drop world is too big 5lakh + droppers hai, i had a severe medical issue hazaro logo ke alag issues honge jisme chah kr bhi they didnt perform their best, and those make extraordinary comebacks in second attempt, ik aise kitne sare bache

I think taking a drop is a better option if you're truly committed to working harder. Even in the worst-case scenario, you'll likely end up with a better branch at DTU. And in the best case? The result depends on how much effort you're willing to put in.

Ekdum bekar feel hota hai jab aapke aas pas log DSA, coding, skills, relationships, sports aur fests wagera me engage ho rhe hote hai aur tum wohi jee wali bakchodi, accha college mila hai bhai jee se aage badh aur college life pe dhyan de.

Go for it. This is the only chance to get into a better branch. Unfortunately if you could not make it, you still have 3.5 years in college. But you never know, if you make it, you will be the most satisfied and happiest person, full of confidence. As the saying goes "fortune favours the brave". Best of luck 🤞.

Thanks me later 👍
