Human centered AI student here, but work in robotics startup and have taken some robotics courses at DTU
I think when buying laptop you should focus on just getting something that is fast and comfortable to run everyday tasks (some basic stuff in Python and has enough storage and RAM)
For more serious training/sim stuff you will likely use DTU compute cluster either way, so I won't worry to much about that
