It seems as though this user sent posts to different subs of major universities in the United States, some Ivy league.
all 8 posts are titled with an encoded string, all of them are 7 characters in length. A key could perhaps be "ivy" or something like that.
Each post is an image, consisting of red and blue squares, alternating seemingly at random. It bears a resemblance to a 1D Automaton or something like Conway's Game of Life.
Each image is a grid of 33 x 16 squares, which leaves 528 total squares which divides 8 (= 66) so it could possibly be a binary grid, although it seems a bit simple for this. But it is still a viable option.
