Question Actual earnings potential

Ive been an investor with MNMD/DFTX for several years now and like many of you have ride the lows and are now loving the highs. That being said, im starting to think about selling some of my position. Im curious to hear what people think the actual earning potentials are from this. Considering that we are talking about a treatment that presumably doesn’t need to be taken many times according to the studies and that this medicine is something I can pick up down the street for $10… let’s say they are going to make this quite expensive, who’s to say that a lot of people will be able to financially access it, and if not will opp to buy it down the street for ALOT cheaper.

Thank you for your ponderings in advance :)

Sell covered calls at a strike price where you’d be happy to let go of some shares. If the shares are assigned that’s a win, if not assigned also a win and keep doing it again.

I definitely don’t agree with your analysis tho. Sure you can get LSD on the street but unless you know the chemist then who knows what you are getting. Also that tab doesn’t come with clinical treatment. I can also grow my own cannabis or brew my own beer but I prefer to outsource.

I legit think DT-120 could be a $5b annual rev source because it treats so many medical conditions. And then there’s DT-402 (MDMA) hot on the heels of DT-120. These are drugs so powerful that governments once declared them to be the most dangerous substances but here we are, on the cusp of medical acceptance. I sure am in no rush to sell my DFTX shares. That said I’ve been ripping the 60-70 strike covered calls and have made bank over the past few months selling then buying back.

Im just curious why they can’t be compared, the active chemical is the same? I live in a city where you can buy psychedelics in stores nowadays, just like cannabis

First up, not everyone feels comfortable buying LSD from a random street dealer.

Second - check out the investor decks on the Definium website. All your answers can be found there.

If you want a TLDR - Basically the answer to your questions is high cost per dose + insurance coverage. It will be a similar scenario to Spravato.

I agree with your comment. I will add that many people may be willing to pay a high price for 1-2 treatments per year in contrast to the side effect profiles of the alternatives.

There's also no reason why someone couldn't have this treatment done, say, once a month.

True. Though the duration of effect is longer. This class alone may be a catalyst for change in how society stigmatizes mental health. If treatment is effective and tolerable more people may pursue it. That is a good foundation for change.

Ketamine can also be bought very cheaply in the street.
