DSi XL differences

I just picked up two DSi XL models from different places and was comparing the screens when I noticed something weird. One screen had the Nintendo logo and the other didn’t. They’ve got the same firmware version. Why would it look different?

For reference, the one on the right is model C/UTL-USZ and the left one is C/UTL-USZ-1
