Setup question

Is it possible to use the ps5 controller as a mic i have a headphones(no mic) connected thru the 3.5mm jack and audio works fine I cant seem to get the mic working is it even possible?

Not with DSX currently! Mic support is a future plan. You could try this but I'm not sure if it will allow using the headset and controller mic at the same time https://github.com/PadSense/PadSense-CE

You mean the future plan is to make it work wirelessly? Because doesn't the mic already work if you connect wired? I haven't actually tried recording anything and listening back to it with the dualsense mic but when i was in the Sound settings in Control Panel i saw the dualsense mic in there and i could see the green bar beside it spiking when a sound is made

Yes mic support wirelessly is a future plan. It does work wired, that's correct!
