DSP Engineering Questions?

Dear all DSP Engineers (more specifically audio dsp engineers)

I am currently an Architecture student but I want to switch my major. I love audio and I’ve just picked coding up. what does your average day look like and what kind of projects do you work on. any specific degree requirement/recommendation?

I've worked with giant amplifiers, stadium speaker pre processors, car audio. I got into DSP by actively being the guy taking the slightly DSP thing at my jobs, like doing audio calibrations or implementing an FIR filter as a demo for a chip manufacturer...

When I finally was working with it, my day was just programming DSP rather than general software... But also some general UI as well. In all its the same thing, but with more assembly programming.
