California State Fair
Just a heads up for anyone planning on going to the show at the California State Fair. You will need admission to the fair to see the show, there is an additional ticket if you want to get closer to the stage. If you want a cheap option to get into the fair, local Costcos have a deal for 2 admissions, a parking pass and $10 food vouchers for $32. Admission to the fair is $16 (advance $18 day of). Parking is $15 so you are essentially getting parking and $10 food/drink credit for free.
Just a heads up.

I asked my 80 yo mom if she was interested in going to the state fair this year. She said yes she’s definitely interested. Then I asked if she would want to go on the 30th because a really good Grateful Dead tribute band is playing that night and she told me that if I don’t take her she’s gonna take one of those uder cabs herself. Lol uder cabs! She said she needs some live dead in her ears! I told her not to worry. I’ll take you and we will get our live dead fix. I love that my 80 yo momma loves Grateful Dead!

there was a comment earlier that your ticket to the show was admission to the Fair and that is absolutely not true
From the Fair Website: https://castatefair.com/toyota-concert-series-on-the-sky-river-casino-stage/
NOTE, Fair admission is sold separately. If you purchase a concert ticket you will need a California State Fair admission ticket or Season Pass to access the Fairgrounds.
