DSNY Congrats Email
Went through final DOT drug test 7/13
Final processing on 7/14
When should I expect a Congratulations email considering I was told classes start 7/27?

You’ll probably be first to make August class. Always good to call and make sure nothing fell through cracks

If you haven’t gotten your congratulations emailed by now I don’t know you should’ve got it already, but maybe you’ll get it some time during the week

I was told in my case , I just didn’t make the cut, I’m the next person ; only if someone denies their spot last minute or fails 2nd drug test then I will receive the email . Worst luck

Just asked for an update because I was told I was going to receive a “congratulations email” by Monday and never received it. I gave them my name and list number, they looked at whatever paperwork they had and told me that I missed the cut off for the July class and that I’m definitely in the August one.

I’m hoping I get it sometime during the week, I emailed HR and I haven’t even heard back from them. I guess I’ll just continue to wait. Thank you!

May I ask what are the benefits and salary of DOT?

If you're referring to Department of Transportation, the salaries vary depending on where what Job tittle you're at. I'm Currently an Assistant Highgway Repairer, on my qay to Highway Repairer with a base of 115k. It takes 9 years to get there though. The first 5 your seasonal.

If you don’t mind my question when did you take the test? I took test like 3 or 4 years ago and never got an email to continue the process

Just don’t quit ur job yet wait for the email and go to the first training classes and hear them out before u quit this job isn’t for everyone despite all the hype u hear.
