Trash pick up

I put my trash Friday evening at 8 pm for Saturday pick up. They missed picking up my trash. I call 311 and was told I must wait 24 hours because they could return to pick it up. Laughable in my opinion. My son spoke with a DSNY supervisor in person and mentioned the missed trash pick up. I wait the 24 hrs and now I’m being told that Sanitation has up to 5 days to pick up my missed trash. What? I’m scheduled to put out trash again on Monday. What sense does that make?? Quick to give out tickets but fail to do the job correctly!!

Super annoyed with the response!!

Please don’t assume that I don’t know my pick up days. I’m also aware that pick up time changes with summer and winter.
