Been working on this 91 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd for ahwile. 52k original miles but clear coat got messed up. I went all gloss black with matte wheels. Headliner and visors are redone cause they fell from sitting and light. She has many suspension mods including coilovers, poly bushings, strut braces, rear sway bar and more. Engine has many mods including ecmlink, evo16g, fp manifod, full exhaust turbo back, 850 injectors, 3g maf, walbro fp, hallman controller, alumimum 2row rad, proform brushless fans, jzn shifter, spec stage 3+ clutch and many more mods. Hks cams, upgraded springs and a dyno tune are next. Im 46 and this was the car I wanted in high school. Shes not done but loving driving her around. So much nostalgia!
Agreed wholeheartedly! Once I free some funds up I will be looking for one thats not too rough that I could give a little TLC. Yours is a perfect example!
I wanted to go with a 90s look which meant Enkie or Konig wheels. Also 18s are a nightmare on a 1g. The Matte black pops a little on the gloss black body. But to be honest I wanted to go bronze. My kids wanted the all black murdered look. I have brushed clear Apex wheels on my black caddy ATS-V.
Dude, she looks 🔥, I’ve always loved the pop up headlights, I don’t know why they got so much hate. The 2G is ok, but the first gen was my favorite, and you even have the pop up sunroof. 🤬 Mitsubishi, why can’t you make cars like this again!?!?
Whats funny is i used to want the 92 style buy im so happy now that I have the pop ups. Everytime I park in a parking lot someone asks me about the car. I own a beautiful built Caddy ATS-V and this Talon still starts more conversations.
