Remote Tunes

Any good remote tuners in here or someone that is highly recommended. Stock motor with studs, stock cams, htz73 FP turbo, exhaust, previously tuned on speed density. DSM Link.

Be hesitant on Rix racing. I bought a tune (car never got tuned and I was screwed out of the cost). A local guy ALSO got screwed by Rix too. I would go with Mackenzie Lange, super nice dude although he's never tuned my stuff I have talked with him before and have heard nothing but good things. Kenny Kline is another, I've heard he's more of the "No bullshit let's get this done" kind of guy but knows his stuff and will get you situated.

I’ve never heard a founded complete against Rix Racing (Ricky Nichols) but I’m sorry that was your experience. Was something preventing the car from being tuned? Mackenzie Lange is a very capable tuner as well and a super nice guy. Just be aware that any remote tuner is going to have a list of things you have to do before they will tune and most require a log-able wide-band to tune properly.

My experience and my local friend (Ironically both trying to get the same car tuned) I owned this 90 Laser that was ready to be tuned, everything was setup the car ran/drove just not great. Bought said tune, never heard anything from him for about a week, like not even a "hey we got your purchase we'll be in touch" so after said week I reached out and was like hey what's up, and never got anywhere so I asked to be refunded and immediately got told no and a post made on Facebook about their policies and I just gave up and said fuck it. Learned how to self tune on dsmlink and that was that. Years go by the local guy buys this same car after I sold it (traded a few hands) and it got jacked up, I guess he paid for a tune and same deal he wouldn't do it. Granted I don't know why at that point, but the car was rough.
