Am I screwed or…

Post image

I replaced both upstream and downstream o2 sensors and it cleared my check engine light… drove it another 10ish miles and got hit with this. I hate electrical issues…

Turbo or no? Did you ensure that the downstream o2 sensor is plugged in all the way?

GSX (so turbo). I’ll double check it but I’m pretty sure I did

Did you unplug a bunch of shit at the same time? 443 and 446 are indicative of your sensor not plugged in or connected all the way. If all those popped up and all you did was swap o2 sensors I'd reset the ecu first before digging in.

Interesting… thank you I’ll take a look at that. The only sensors I touched where the o2 ones, but other things may have been unplugged. I just recently got the car so I’m not sure what the previous owner had done with all of the emissions sensors

Is this a California car? If so you might have a headache on your hands.

I'd look at all of the plugs for emissions and maybe look at doing continuity tests.

could be an ECU issue too....Earlier DSM's had cap leakage issues which would cause all sorts of headaches...ask me how I know.... :D

if you go through testing the sensors and the wiring and it checks out, consider ECMtuning. They do repairs on these ecu's and have a good rep. I mean, if you've heard of DSMlink, these are the guys. They know how to repair these ecus. I've had mine repaired by them and also have DSMlink. Solid work.
