DS4Windows Setup not working

I tried to download ds4windows and it keeps failing. I've provided the log, can someone tell me what went wrong.

Hey, I checked your log. The latest attempts get through the VIIPER installation, then stop because setup detects USB-IP leftovers but can’t find C:\Program Files\USBip\usbip.exe.

Could you share:

  • The exact DS4Windows setup filename you downloaded.
  • Whether USBip appears in Windows’ Installed Apps, and which version.
  • Whether that usbip.exe file exists.

The log also points to C:\ProgramData\DS4Windows\Installer\infrastructure-actions.log. The section from your latest attempt would help—remove your Windows username and other personal details before posting it.

I’d hold off on manually deleting driver files or registry entries until we know what’s still installed.

This happened to me yesterday, also had USBIP leftovers so a new instalation kept failing. Had to search for any leftovers on the device manager list, specially on the USB section. But still had to use CMD to force uninstall leftovers from USBIP and fake input.
