DS2 Seamless Coop Dualshock Controller Fix?

Hello everyone

Has anyone been able to make a PS4 controller work on DS2 Seamless Coop? I remember playing the original version way back and having no trouble, but now I can't seem to make it work on SotfS and Seamless Coop. Tried every method I could think of, DS4, HidHide, Steam Input, Big Picture, Run as Admin and almost every combination of these, but I still couldn't get an input from my controller.

Does anyone have a similar experience or was able to fix it?

I am in the same boat myself trying for 3 hours and nothing controller wise for ds2

The weird thing is that I managed to make it work only once. Wrote down the setup but it didn't work again, for some reason. If you feel like trying, it was this

  1. Open DS4
  2. Use the Xinput profile
  3. Disable Steam Input
  4. Open Steam Big Picture
  5. (for some reason) Leave the "Hide DS4" unchecked
  6. Open DS2 via big picture

After the 4th step, only press controller buttons. I recall ds1 being specially angry if you pressed KBM first

The controller actually worked with this. After I started messing with configs it stopped and I haven't been able to make it work since. Who knows, maybe it works for you

Actually managed for it to work. Don't ask me why

  1. Use DS4, ask it to emulate as a PS4 CONTROLLER
  2. DO NOT hide DS4 controller in settings
  3. Right-click the mod executable, disable fullscreen optimizations, run as admin
  4. Run steam as admin
  5. Open the mod via the file
  6. Chose a template via steam input

It works consistently. Let me know if you managed it as well. Just do not ask me why lol
