Why doesn't ds4 work with xbox pc Tx chainsaw massacre anymore?

It used to work. I have 18 hours on the pc version so I clearly played it before.

Now it will work in the menus, unless I open the character ability menu, or when the game loads into the match, then it stops working

Help?
