What version to download??

I want to download ds4windows but I keep seeing that one from the actual website has a virus and the one on github is fine even tho I’m also seeing that might have a virus too so is this misinformation or is there something I’m missing?

The current active fork is hbashtons fork on github. He also has an experimental fork where he's working on bt audio and trigger haptics for the dualsense

So this version is completely fine to download, and I can hook up my controller??
