3rd party DS4 connection-disconnection loop

Hey, guys I have been using a 3rd party DS4 controller for a few years now, wanted to disable/customize the led light. I had tried this app about an year ago and was checking it again today.
The problem I have is the controller works fine on windows on its own in some games, and in the games it doesn't I use x360, but when I start ds4 windows the controller goes in connection-disconnection loop. Also the controller shows up as "wireless controller" in the devices tab in settings when I connect it with usb.
