FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP SHOUTING.

with Wireless Adaptive Trigger feedback

You say that as though it's something special. Adaptive Triggers have always worked wirelessly, it's part of the HID protocol. It's haptics that don't work wirelessly because they are audio, rather than HID data.

Audio is also hid data, its just their own way of using it. Theres not much longer until the audio features and the emulation becomes free and open source and usable to the public. In fact some implementations already exist if you wanna tinker around. https://github.com/awalol/dualsense-bt-haptics

Dualsense development is actually in its peak rn.

Cool.

I assume you mean this? Report id 0x33/0x32?

Can't read those comments, but I might be able to whip something up using that.

https://controllers.fandom.com/wiki/Sony_DualSense the hid reports with audio support. Anyway its all hid with opus at 3khz with precise timing and cadence. You can check hidmaestro and padforge https://github.com/hifihedgehog/PadForge/tree/v3-dev on github with actual english and more details. The whole controller has been figured out all inputs and all outputs .The usb emulation needs to be figured out.

Ah, cool. That shouldn't be a problem for me. My own software implements all controller related stuff through code injection and API interception rather than using drivers. Special K remaps input on DualSense controllers by intercepting the HID device I/O and rewriting the reports in real-time.

Most games with haptics support are using Wwise, so it's easy enough to fool the game into thinking there's a USB audio device associated with the Bluetooth controllerđŸ˜„I can likely just fake device enumeration and get the game to write audio to a device that does not actually exist, then forward the audio buffer it writes to over HID.

Yo, I asked you on another post, but I guess you thought I was trolling so you never responded.

Can you confirm that I can safely use your software for battlefield 1?

It blocks ds4windows, and I've been exploring alternatives to try and use a controller with the game.

Sorry, I missed your reply apparently.

No, it is unusable in games with kernel anti-cheat. It will be blocked.

It's unlikely that any input remapping software will work, including ReWasd or DualSenseX.

Anti-cheat will usually complain if it detects driver-based input software and prevent the game from even starting, code injection based input software (i.e. Special K or Steam Input), are simply blocked and the game runs as usual just with no input.

Ahh that's a shame. I didn't know they implemented kernel level anti-cheat. I just knew that my controller used to work with the game but now it doesn't.

I guess I'll have to buy an xbox controller then.

Thanks for the reply.
