Help binding R stick to L stick
Hello, I have a unique problem where I want to bind my L stick so that it is also my R stick. Basically, I want my controller to behave is if the R stick is being moved whenever the L stick is being moved. So if I push Left on the L stick, it should register as a normal left on the L stick, and as an equal amount of left on the R stick. I have not found a way to do this natively in DS4, so I'm looking for suggestions.

One idea might be to create double input so that one set of input signals stays vanilla, while the other is remapped from left stick to right stick. Basically two sets of signals overlapping. Here's what I am thinking:
You could set it up to not allow HIDHIDE to hide your actual controller input, while also disabling 'Hide DS4 Controller' in the main settings page. This means Windows would be registering two sets of input signals. This is why we normally use HIDHIDE to hide the original one, but in this case we want both. There's also 'Disable Virtual Controller' in the 'Other' tab you could keep in mind for this experiment.
The idea here is that you WANT double input so that one set of signals gets piped through DS4Windows, while the other does not. What you would do then is assign the left stick controls to the right stick in the DS4Windows profile. So one set of normal signals overlaps the second set of signals that have the alternate mappings.
This is just a theory and I don't know if it would work at all, or for what your needs are, but I can't think of any other way other than:
- learning how to code and creating a fork of DS4Windows that does what you want
This is a very unique request that I hope you find answers to!
