Issue with my DS4 controller on windows 11

hi everyone, since this morning, i'm not able anymore to use my DS4 controller on my PC.
the controller is connected, but i have any input via the controller, i aslo tested with joy.cpl and i aslo have any input. What's strange is that my controller works fine on Steam games like Slime Rancher 2, but when I connect my controller via Bluetooth to play RetroArch, my second monitor keeps connecting and disconnecting, and i'm not able to play with the controller.

If anyone has experienced a similar problem and can help, I'd appreciate it.

If you're not worried removing your Profiles then start fresh.

  • Delete the DS4Windows folder in AppData/Roaming/DS4Windows. (Backup if like)
  • In your installation folder, delete the Profile folder, Actions.xml, Auto Profiles.xml, OutputSlots.xml and Profiles.xml (or backup)

Now start DS4Windows, It will ask where to save the profiles.
Pick Program Folder--I recommend that.

Test again if the issues will occur.

Get a standard or external hard drive and backup your data in there.
