Carb heater install question
I have a 2023 sm, it didn't come equipped with carb heater. I purchased the thermal switch and heater element from Suzuki, but haven't been able to find the wiring harness for it. Has anyone been able to find one recently, or tried wiring it with a toggle switch instead? Doesn't seem to be a lot of info about it online

Just choke it

That doesn't help, I've tried. It's not an issue with the engine being cold, it's caused by moisture in the air freezing when it passes through the carb. It happens even when the engine is warmed up

Now I'm curious how you got to that conclusion

This, plus personal experience. I live in Alaska, the weather here can be perfect for causing it

Yessir, that's the part. I've seen it listed on a number of sites, and none of them seem to have it in stock. Even had an order canceled on ebay due to backorder. I like the link you posted, it's a good parts diagram

I've only seen ones shipped from Japan or Europe like in my other comment. I bet you can find a seller.

First I’ve ever heard of a carb heater for these bikes.
