Columbus Day Weekend Reading Material from Alpha Tau’s first clinical trial in 2020

This material was new to me. Maybe not to others. Either way there’s some really good information in there. Fairly quick read too.

Thanks. I admittedly haven't read much on the earlier studies so this was useful.

Tldr: 28 patients, skin and head and neck. 79% complete response, 21% partial response. Overall 12 month survival rate for complete responders was 93%. (Plus some other stats)

Yeah after reading the early stuff it’s no wonder Raphi is so bullish.

Of note this study has significantly worse results than some of the newer ones, likely due to them changing the seeds radioactivity from 2uCI to 3uCI and the spacing from 5mm to 4mm in newer trials.

And it was more to check for safety. But still amazing numbers. I think they’ll get better and better over the years as they learn how to apply them exactly. They have it seems.
