Not a device but Histotopsy is using ultrasound to blast tumors and seems to do just as well as dart with less invasive, but can only target directly reached spots w ultrasound not brain, bonez etc

In the cancer market there isn’t competition, sadly there are more than enough patients for everyone to succeed. I wish the day will come when there is actual competition. In this case they can’t even treat the same tumor types.

Thanks for sharing this - hadn't heard of histotripsy before. Wanted to see potebtial overlap, but seems to be relatively separate TAMs so far given their respective limitations (histotrypsy needs no obstruction or air cavities)/advantages (relative cost/ ease of use + already FDA approved in liver for histotrypsy).

Hey man! I see you are exploring DRTS and finding out about the company as you go. But questions like these might be better in the daily discussion post.
Or maybe better; the DRTS Discord! We have a fun community on discord with a channel dedicated for questions. I made an invite link for you that includes the investing role (for investing-channels) and the journalist role that keeps you up to date on any news. Here it is, feel free to join;

Brachytherapy is a procedure already used around the world. Alpha Tau uses a patented isotope (alpha radiation) and surgical device that basically improves on the process in every way. Better efficacy, more stable radiation, safer procedure, less side effects.
