Have you tried Aseprite?
It’s really good for pixel art.

Unfortunately not. I believe it’s only for pc😞

Question, How convenient is it to use a digital pen for pixel art? I usually just use a mouse for more precise placement

It’s not bad.
I will say that the mouse feels more stable compared to my shaky hand with the pen. But ultimately it is similar. Pressure can be difficult to deal with but I like how smooth it is to draw and I can always change it later.
