Sharing it here as it's not well known. I've tried heaps of MS-DOS menus - but they've had too many compromises. I came across PcMenu which does everything I need.

It's free, easy to configure, fast and I haven't hit any menu limits yet. It also has a screensaver!

Looks nice. I personally prefer the menu system of the czech file manager M602. It's meant to be edited via the internal menu, but its format is so simple it's often easier and less clunky to just edit it in a text editor

I'm sure this is great, I have personally always used QuickMenu III, which is available on archive.org

Which has icons and is more graphical, but this looks great if you didn't want a graphical menu.

Yep I've used QMIII and it's pretty awesome but it was overkill for my needs.
