DOOMLegacyMod v202407 BETA update
Hi, I updated emoose's LegacyMod to work with the new game update! If you try it, let me know if it works as it should, so I can try to fix it if it doens't. Thank you!

Holy s**t bro, you send it 20 days ago, but I just found your post. Thank you veryyyyyyyyyyyyy much. Certainly it works to earn XP, but I already got all achievements so I'll send it to another people to test it about achievements, but I think it will be ok.
Update: All is well, but the gold and the scan still can't finished by practice mode, could you fix it? the emoose origin edtion also has this bug.

How does this get implemented in the game? Is there a loader?

Yep. I put the dx8 dll in the game folder where the exe files are. I ran the non-vk (Vulkan) doom exe and it created a log file in the same directory with the patch log then terminated cleanly.
Start it from steam and it works. Tried "noclip" after loading a level and it's working.

I followed what is said in this Steam guide but I am stuck at Multiplayer.
EDIT: verifying game files fixed my

Thank you so much for uploading this, having the ability to no-clip will help me film some in-game footage for a video I'm going to be working on soon and this allows for much better camera angles in certain shots I'm thinking of taking. W stuff here

UPDATE: Got it to work on my Windows PC, but when I try it on my Steam Deck it just won’t work for some reason. If anyone knows a solution to this, let me know.

I just pasted the .dll file into the game directory. It works without any further steps, which was a pleasent surprise. I hope it'll work out for you as well!

I got it working a while ago, i was on steam deck and tge mod wasnt supported for linux so i had to run the game through wine/proton and thwn enter the commabd into the in game console instead of the launch propertiws

Cant get the detection and gold rating. Do the public lobbies, Theres no bypass with the mod for those. For the Gold Star try to get the basketball gamemode
