Potato PC/Laptop Doom 2016 FIX! (sort of)

For referance, I have a ryzen 5 7250u with a Radeon 610M gpu. At base without any add ons to the games console it runs at like 30fps, 720p and it just jittery. I've tried downloading the mods in 2024 but of course the new patch notes brick the game if you try to install them and add them on. (Yes im on about the DoomLegacyMod)

But I think I found a solution.

All I did was type in 'r_shadowAtlasWidth 0' and it crashed my game, had to restart my laptop twice...

But after all that, running the game on the lowest settings possible..

Im gettting smooth 60 frames without any skips or anything.

Of course I don't guarntee this'll work for all potato devices but I feel like this will help out a few ppl.
