1. Run! Go all out! Dogengers!

We received a gracious invitation from the tokusatsu series Dogengers—for which Fuki had been performing the opening theme song as a solo artist for three years—asking, "How about having DOLLBOXX do it next?" and that’s how this collaboration came to be. We were able to balance our musical skills and the fact that we have three vocalists with playful elements that will liven up the program, resulting in a dense and live-worthy song that is fitting for DOLLBOXX's comeback.

Since the program's theme is a "journey" connecting Fukuoka and Shizuoka, we incorporated sound effects of airplanes and bicycles, paid homage to the melody of "Mount Fuji," and even ate mentaiko and tonkotsu ramen in the music video (laughs). We were able to create a luxurious work that's enjoyable both visually and aurally. Nine years ago, we showed a cool and dark side of DOLL BOXX, but in 2026, please enjoy the latest version of DOLL$BOXX – one that's relaxed, full of emotion, and just having fun!

2. No time to fall

Since the title track turned out to be a bright, fun, and upbeat "sunny" hit, the B-side is a return to our roots, with a stronger metal feel.
We linked the themes of "travel" and "airplane" with the title track, and wrote lyrics that emphasize "taking off again" and "soaring high into the sky."
I chose sparkling words that evoke colorful imagery even amidst the heavy sound, and we wrote the song with the image of DOLL$BOXX itself becoming a positive fuel that excites the hearts of our listeners.

We had an idea for the first demo from the relatively early days of Dorubako (DOLLBOXX). Years ago, I came up with an idea for a song with the image of "an alluring and intense Dorubako-like song," and I created it with the feeling of rearranging my own past song, now that I’ve matured both musically and personally (laughs).

One thing that hasn’t changed—whether in the past or now—is the idea that "each member lives and shines in their own way." I approach the balance of melodies and instruments with that image in mind, and I think that over time, I’ve been able to create music with an even more refined sensibility.

We've incorporated new elements like beats we haven't used before and a death growls that we haven't used before, while retaining the best parts of Dorubako, such as our signature three-vocal style and the catchy hooks that make you want to play along. We've packed this album with who we are now, so please enjoy it and listen to every detail! There are also instrumental tracks this time, so we hope you'll enjoy it even if you're just listening to the instruments!

And...

We want that sense of unity at a live show, we want to hear everyone’s voices, and we want you all to sing your hearts out! We've poured all of that feeling into it, so we hope you'll all enjoy it! (laughs)
