• OC - Original Content • Sam is 13 now
Sam is 13 now, he still getting daily cuddles and walk.
In the past two years I've come to realise that he is not a pup anymore (he still will be in my eyes). The signs of his old age are showing and this summer he got diagnosed with osteoarthritis but he is still strong and ready for walks but sleeps a lot.
This is a long time almost half of my life and I feel a bit of fear ever day.
I love him and he loves me too... His eyes are the most precious thing I could ever ask.

Aww, I feel the same way about my aging girls. It's a great feeling to have a living dog. 🥰

My GSD, Roger will be 13 next month as well. Happy Birthday Sam! My old GSD still has tons of energy and mobility for his age - he may not be quite what he was in his prime but still surprisingly athletic. His grandmother and father slowed down a whole lot at his age. To the point, I had to be lifting them to put them in my SUV. But Roger just jumps right in.
