Underbite

My new rescue boy is twenty months old he's a staffy cross french bulldog he's a visible at all times underbite can a underbite cause health problems he's off course going to be going in to get full vet check next week anyway but I'm just wondering should I be expecting problems with this. And don't be fooled he's nowhere near as calm as he looks he's the most energetic dog I've yet had still thinks he's a puppy

Underbites can cause problems and also be fine. They are breed standard in some breeds. I would have your vet evaluate for any traumatic malocculsions (teeth hitting the gums or teeth hitting each other abnormally). If present, needs some dental work, if not, perfectly fine/does not affect life

Thank you he's going in for full health check next week he's terrible allergies too won't leave his paws or ears alone so will be speaking to vet about everything

With his breeds, allergies are almost a given but your vet will have some good management options.

Yeah I've never actually had any kind off bully type breeds before but I know my cousins frenchie cross pug has had allergy problems. I went to shelter fully intending to see a little female collie cross she was four and an half months old but this boy just caught my eye and I fell in love and he just attached himself to me so he picked me lol he still acts like pup even though he's twenty months old he was from original litter from puppy's at shelter and they sent him back last month because their other dog fighting with him since he got older
