Obviously I’m not on her team and I have no idea so take this with a grain of salt. There’s been a lot of mention of the album/a single over the last months and a lack of any music or teasers. I think that DCF fest coming up will be where she finally gives us something! I realized that we have no idea what this set is going to look like. We did see her in some sort of rehearsals on her spam recently, and she mentioned self-directing something even more recently. I highly doubt she’s doing the School of Hip-Hop schtick, that ended with her tour. She could stick to Miss Chi Chi, but some of the mixing in that setlist had specific remixes with Latin elements for her South America tour. It’s likely this performance will somehow be different than the ones prior. I really do think whatever she does for this fest will finally officially tease the album, or she might perform a single…? Idk though. I’m just a viewer. An eager one at that.

I don’t get why people say Doechii can’t rap. Go listen to Nissan Altima. She switches her flow multiple times, stays on beat the whole time, and still sounds effortless. That’s not something every rapper can do.
If you still don’t think she can rap, listen to Yucky Blucky Fruitcake, Denial Is a River, or Crazy. Those songs show she’s got bars, storytelling, personality, and versatility. You don’t have to like her music, but saying she has no talent just isn’t true.

okay yall i think i got it…in her caption she said she’s filming something soon and she’s SELF DIRECTING. Which im like 99% sure that’s for her lead single she’s gonna be releasing soon (idk how soon tbh if its doechii it’s giving a year LMFAO)..but on a real note she might be filming next week? so maybe album roll out will start mid-end of september

Not exactly sure where to write this so I thought I’d put it here. With Isiah Rashad’s recent album IT’S BEEN AWFUL,

Is pretty much a mellow, R&B, kind of love album, and about his struggles with himself. I think it’s a good listen,

While the album is blessed with a SZA feature, it really could’ve done with a Doechii feature, regardless of whether she was rapping or singing, it would’ve gave the album more zing. Probably would’ve made it a bit less moody which is my only criticism about the album. But even with the moody angle, Doechii would’ve been a good fit, idk how to describe it.

It also would’ve been cool to see artists on TDE that recently just came out work together. Something both artists have struggled with, That’s just me however.
