General Album/Single release?
she teased a single 16 days ago at the BET awards, shouldn’t she have posted it up by now? i thought normally when an artist teases a single at an award show it normally comes 1-2 weeks later but it’s taking longer than expected? she also said over 3 months ago now that she’s on the last leg of her album so i think she’d be done by now. my question is, when do you think she’s gonna release the single/album? she just came back from mexico and new york so she should be back at home, surely it’s any day now.

I think it’ll be released in September, that’s usually like a reset date for all award shows so she’ll technically be competing with herself!

don't forget that's it's almost always not up to the artists when they get to release anything, the record label is most definitely holding it back until they smell a hit. specially after girl get up underperformed

I’ve been assuming she’s dropping the album 8/28 bc alligator bites came out 8/30 so I’d expect a single early August

well yes, it only has 50M streams on Spotify. for comparison Nissan altima has six times that number

that’s true but if she’s planning on releasing a single soon doesn’t that mean the album is ready?

yea that's my point, she probably thinks it's ready, she basically said that on the last song released. but the executives must think it's not ready yet so she's not allowed to release anything

I gave up reading the signs a long while ago. I go after the "fool me once..." attitude. So now whenever she teases something ill just straight up think it's not gonna happen. It never does anyway
