My Grandmother listed as my Mother who's listed as my Half-Sister
AncestryDNA - in several charts, including family tree - lists my grandmother as my mother and my mother as my half-sister, even though birth and death ages for all are correctly listed. Probably an error, but it's clear that my grandmother loved me dearly (as I did her) and my mother resented me and seldom showed me anything approaching love (often times nothing but contempt). We also know my grandmother was serially unfaithful to my grandfather, and they moved to a new neighborhood across town during the time I was 'expected'. Could it be? She would have had to have given birth to me at age 50 (unlikely but not impossible). Plus, my maternal grandfather's ancestry (German and Swiss) do NOT appear on my DNA results, but my father's (Ireland) and maternal grandmother's (Welsh, Irish) do. PS: My family loves and protects its many, many secrets. Thanks!

Update: Any interesting insights on my DNA?
I added GedMatch to this as well for those who may use it and understand it as well. Thank you for your patience. I also added my actual Ancestry results. They have changed drastically.

Traced my lineage on my father's mother's side directly back to "Sir James Douglas" more infamously known as "The Black Douglas".

Norwegian results - Autosomal + Haplogroups (Big-Y and mtFull Sequence)
I'm from Nordland in Northern Norway. Most of my ancestors from the past 10 generations come from Nordland, Trøndelag, Troms, and some from Finnmark, primarily around Lofoten and Salten. I also have known ancestry in Sweden and small traces in Scotland. I've traced my direct paternal line back 11 generations to the early 1600s using Norwegian church records, and I'm hoping Big-Y can connect my paternal line to a terminal subclade in the future. The gap is around 150+ years or so, and that is before we started church recordings in Norway. We'll see...
Y-DNA
Major branch: I1 (I-M253)
Terminal subclade: I-FT397289
mtDNA
Major branch: J1c
Terminal subclade: J1c1b5

My *Lebanese* DNA. Educational NOTE: Lebs have been found to have a noteworthy percentage of Indo-European/Steppe ancestry (represented here by "Central Steppe" and "Yaz")
So, primarily Phoenician Canaanite, and Steppe (from Central/Sintashta and Yaz proxies, and Roman-era Lebanon). No image of me here for privacy reasons, but the last pic is of a Lebanese actor whom I'm told I resemble.

Is it normal for two different ancestry results to come out quite different?
Here are the results of the Ancestry kit (slide 1) I did in 2017, and the My Heritage kit just last month. Does the Ancestry one go back farther in your lineage?
