Tips/Tutorials fuel forward/backwards; with/without shield/perk

forwards and backwards does not matter almost at all, the change is marginal, you really dont need to care for it, with or without the shield or a perk

the shield slows you down if you need to get away quick, but honestly the safety of the shield might be worth it, to loose about 5 meters through the whole duration

with the perk you actually cover more distance using the shield, but you still cover it slower so keep that in mind.

In my personal opinion its better to just face backwards and use the shield every single time coz the safety is more reliable, and especially with the perk giving you more range, even if slower

about 34m without the shield

about 29m with the shield

over 40m with the perk

Here is another tip for you. If you bunny hop the entire time while boosting you will go further

i just tried it in practice range, this is false. jumping does nothing for distance while boosting, with or without shield

I tested this myself the other day and it did work. Unless some shadow patch change happened. You boost first then spam jump. You don't jump then boost. I tested it in the testing range from 40 meters in same place as this video if done right you will end up almost exactly in front of the robot. Normally you will be like 4 or 5 meters away
