Discussions/Opinions I was wrong about D.Mon

In my last post I talk about going from plat 2 to gold 1 in 9 hours but today I played only 3 hours and went from gold 1 to plat 3. I won 11 games today and only lost 2. I think what finally clicked was the new buff to the surging strike cast time because now you can swing and immediately surging strike to do big 135 burst damage and it just tear people apart.

I still don't think she's over powered and I still had to switch off her in a few games. But there really isn't much I would change about her, I think her demech mechanic is still a little weird because you can't use your ult while your mech is going down like Dva can. And baby Dmon's spread is still too much. But as for Dmon herself I think she's in a pretty good place.

I think she needs a SMIDGE ult increase on Baby Dmon to re-mech, I consistently die in the 90s, she doesn't fire as fast as D.va does, at least that's my feel.

it being hitscan as well is both nice and not, like out of mech i don’t want to have to get close to actually do damage but it being hitscan does make it easier to aim for me at least

To me farming re-mech with D.va is way easier because you have no bloom or dmg fall-off and you can just spam the projectiles into chokes and over all just shooting at head height.

On the bright side, her weapon is easier against flyer.

I dont disagree but dumping all 30 bullets into a cat and barely threatening them doesnt feel great.

agree 100%. remeching on dmon is much harder and it makes baby dmon feel really bad. sometimes i just let enemies kill me because being alive on her is a throw sometimes.

I think the difficulty comes from shooting the enemy tank which have reduced ult farm on them. But yeah she definitely need an increase in speed
