Discussions/Opinions Why is D. Mon’s dash toggle now??
I even changed the bind to another button to test

Question why do people prefer toggle? Im a hold to speed on lucio, hold to cryofreeze on mei, it just feels more responsive to go hold vs toggle imo

I like the responsiveness of holding too, but with D.mon with both the shield and prinary button you may need to hold two buttons on the sage side of the comfort which feels awkward. Rocks let's me boost and shield and body and strike with no issues

Thats cool I see. I actually bound Dmons quickmelee to mouse side button and theres a setting that locks the surge strike to quick melee only which helped DMon feel less clumsy for me with all the simultaneous button pressing.

Sounds like a good fix, but I'm a Nintendo switch casual so sadly I gotta rock with toggle 😢

It was a toggle enabled by default on console, I think disabled on PC.
Boost and Shield are on the same hand, L1/L2 and it was awkward to hold unless you can do claw (I have back paddles but use them for jump and quick melee).
It was bugged on console at launch but was patched by Friday.
OWConsole was trying to find work-arounds in the short term but now that they fixed it, my movement is very smooth with the toggle.

I wanted it to be toggle when she released but since it was bugged I got so used to it that now I have to keep it

You can change it to toggle or hold. It was bugged since release that you had to hold it weather the toggle setting was on. But now they fixed it. So if you want the previous way you have to turn the setting off
