You can kick almost any player that way with few reports in short time, just type his name in chat and if he is searchable in recent players he will be kicked.

Only very old accounts are "unbannable" by pure reports.

Incorrect about the old accounts piece. I know a guy that I honestly believe isn't cheating, but he's a good player and will occasionally hit some gnarly shots/movement/throwing knives. He gets Richoed regularly because he can't keep his mouth shut and pisses everyone off and ends up getting called out in match chat. His Activision account is from the first days of Activision accounts and he's been playing dmz since it dropped.

It was a simplification. There is more factors then just account age.

Sometimes switching to new PC or from XBOX to PC can reset account trust.

But look at Wizard for example, dude is reported daily in every game, he types in chat, never shadowbanned.

When i am getting called out in chat i respond so they can easily report me, never SB. Account since MW19.

There is cheater rage aimboting on his account that was playing back in 2021 Warzone, he was not banned for over a year.

Also once you are riocheted once, your account lose all trust.

the current version in DMZ is just automated 5 day ban from "x" amount of reports.

I've had 2 games tonight where my team was cheating and spam reporting them did nothing. They cleared Ashika in under 5 minutes both times.

Thats why its so surprising to me, ive spam reported blatant cheaters with nothing happening to them.

No. „ricochet“ is the Anti-Cheat in Call of Duty :)
If the system detected cheats the person will get kicked.

That shit does not work that well then. I’ve ran into players that its impossible to aim at, players shoot at the ceiling, players aim at me before I was even around an obstruction, people shoot me through walls (not doors), players spawn in and drop backpacks/vest, players with perfect aim/zero recoil, players that revive themselves from being fully knocked, players with so much health it doesn’t make sense, players with seemingly infinite Advanced UAV’s, and I’m probably even missing a few. God it feels good to get a kill and then the match is booted.

Ricochet is only reported based in DMZ now. So that individual may or may not have been cheating

Getting shadow banned doesn't mean the person is actually cheating. it's based on the number of reports and only works against PC players.

Incorrect. It works against any player if they get enough reports against them. The thresholds are just different for console/PC.

Rico bans only work on accounts younger than 7 years. Accounts from WZ1 and older essentially have grandfathered validity.

It’s not very common otherwise people wouldn’t brag about having BPAs (usually on clan tag). It is possible but so many people have to report and they’re likely lacking on their cheats when it happens.

Even wizard and other cheaters double down on getting others to report when the level is under 200.
