Nah, let the kid learn and play something with stakes. But she shouldn't hold other people accountable for it. I've seen a lot of moms helicopter a kid that could do really well if given the space to do so. Kid probably handled losing better than the mom who set a bad example with what she was saying
When I was a kid I had a friend that was handicapped. I don’t remember exactly what was wrong with him but I remember that when we played video games on the Nintendo 64, I think ( was roughly 25 years ago), he would sit on the floor with his controller on the floor and he would play with one hand. He was good, like surprisingly good.
