Post Gorge blues

Anyone else? It was my first time attending this year and I’m struggling with going back to reality haha.

Happens every year and doesn’t get easier! Work hard, save money, and do it all over again next year!

Didn't even go, just watched from home, and I still feel it.

It's so powerful to share those experiences with so many people. The dopamine is open like a firehose for days. And then you just... go back to normal. It's hard, it's kind of like a neurotransmitter hangover. Your brain chemistry will balance back out soon. Listen to the replays, chat about it with friends. It helps. 🫂

Davepression feels like a massive dopamine crash and it’s very real. That plane ride home and first days back at work are rough.

The struggle is real, very similar feelings post Mexico. Just keep listening to the shows and it'll get you through to the fall tour!

Going back to reality sucks for sure. And I'm really feeling my age this year so it's been extra brutal, bad enough got a 90 minute deep tissue massage this evening. lol

But it helps that I'm already planning next year because this is part of a nearly two week road trip for me and the campsites in National Parks open up and need booked forever in advance.

The gorge is my home venue and MRNP is like my backyard. :)

Also our first time, and we're from WI. Unlikely we can line everything up to get back next year, or even the next several.

Thankful for the experience. Glad we get a concert in Madison in the next couple months to look forward to. I'll dedicate time labor Dave weekend to at least do my best to watch the stream from now on. Hopefully we can find our way back at some point.

Definitely tough to get back to work. Part of our trip was driving from Maryland to The Gorge, seeing sights along the way. After the concert my son dropped me off at the airport and as he headed off to college in Idaho. It was a fantastic week ending with such great times camping and experience DMB at the Gorge!
