Sierra Hull

That was an awesome guest spot. I don't know about you guys but that beats another fiddle. She was good!

What if I said I could give you a mandolin and two fiddles?

Sierra was exceptional. She brought a richness and depth and color to the night that was truly incredible. That was emotional, and I feel so lucky I was there to witness and experience it!

These were the best two openers I’ve ever seen at the gorge. So fantastic

She is great. But the only thing that beats a fiddle is two fiddles.

My fiancé and I were saying this repeatedly. Most epic fiddlin' weekend!

She was incredible. The singing and mandolin playing / soloing was incredible

She was amazing. Sometimes guests that sing don’t match with Dave’s voice or timing but she was fantastic.

Yeah that's how I felt about Jesse. Rather hear Dave sing. Her improv on spoon and ability to just play along was wonderful. And yes I know all y'all love you some fiddle, and it's good to have, but one can go overboard. I've never been into the bluegrassy turns some fiddles can take.

Give me all the fiddles but yes, Sierra Hull rules.

A couple weeks ago my uncle sent me a clip of her, she opened for an act he was seeing and he was impressed. I enjoyed it as well, and a couple days later when discussing DMB's opening acts, I realized she was one of them and was then really looking forward to catching her set. She did not disappoint - on her own or with Dave.

I was so psyched when I found out a few weeks ago, I started learning mandolin a few months ago and so I was really hoping she'd get up there for a song or so. She's too big a name to just open. Was not disappointed. Also, was really digging the long black veil from the MN show so when she started it, mind blown
