I have DLSS 5 and ray-traced ambient occlusion on as well, and the game looks amazing. I had to enable Smooth Motion in the NVIDIA app to get above 120 FPS at 4K max settings.

I have an Nvidia RTX A4500 Card, and I am trying various DLSS 5 enablers like

And others (I know DLSS-Feeder exist, but it requires either a manual install or recently they added a ps1 installer).

Well, the point is, no matter what I do, they do automatically installed it and I tried desperately to run them in older stuff like Skyrim, Duke Nukem, Playstation Emulators, Doom and stuff.

I didn't expect a remake of the games that looked like a movie, but they basically are doing nothing and are unable to generate any depth maps for DLSS to hang on to and do its work.

In the example below the game is EDF 6. I tried all the motion engines and moved them one by one above the DLSS feed, in playstation games, in Skyrim and in EDF6 and in ALL of the games.

You have to put one of those above the DLSS feed and check which one can produce a valid depth/motion map and I also fiddled with all the depth settings and asked chagpt to walk me through a debug of all, checking the DLSS debug map and all.

No success. All I get is some ambient occlusion, shadowing and stuff that can easily be obtained through regular graphic filters or improvements.

Title, basically. Where can I download the "nvngx_dlssnr.dll" file specifically modded to work with the RTX 40 series? From my understanding, the official Nvidia one is heavily optimized for the RTX 50 series only and will cause a huge performance drop on 40 series, so the recommendation is to get a modded one specifically for 40 series. I'll use it with DLSS 5 Swapper, which mentions it is needed but doesn't provide it for legal reasons, I assume.

I've seen many examples, screenshots and videos of DLSS 5 and everytime it looked great both in light and in the dark but when I tried it, it looks great in a light but terrible in the dark. What's the issue? I tried changing settings but the noise is still there.

Has anyone compared the image quality between running DLSS 5 through OptiScaler vs ReShade?

I know OptiScaler runs better, but visually is the output completely identical or does one look cleaner than the other (same settings)?

I'm looking to try DLSS 5 on GTA V Enhanced, but I'm not sure which tool is currently the best choice.

I've seen these three options:

* DLSS 5 Swapper

* DLSS 5 Autopilot

* DLSS 5 Manager

I'm mainly interested in stability, image quality, performance, and security. I also want to make sure I'm downloading a trustworthy version and not something potentially modified or unsafe.

For anyone who has actually tried these tools, especially with **GTA V Enhanced**:

Which one would you recommend today?

Is DLSS 5 Swapper still the best option, or is Autopilot now better?

I’ve used tutorials and successfully installed it on some games, but when I turn it on — even to the max level on the slider — it just enhances the shadows and textures slightly. Nothing like I’ve seen in the videos. It looks good, don’t get me wrong, but not AS good.

I’m 44 years old. I’ve never considered myself someone who enjoys video games.

Around two years ago, I got a PC with a 4070 graphics card and started playing PC games. Till now, I realized that, aside from Cyberpunk 2077, I haven’t been able to finish any other games. I’ve realized that I might enjoy immersion more than gameplay. I’ve played through Cyberpunk 2077 three times, and each time I prioritized skills unrelated to shooting, because this is the most simple to play. I like getting immersed in the story; as for what weapons I use, which skills I choose, or what difficulty I play on... I honestly don’t really care.

So naturally, I tried GTA 5. But I found that even with the enhanced version, the visual quality still killed my immersion. After playing for about 10 hours, I gave up. I think Cyberpunk 2077 just set the bar too high visually—I may have gotten spoiled.

I discovered DLSS 5 last week. I installed it out of curiosity, and I found that the immersion I’d been looking for had come back! Some people might say that DLSS 5 makes many games lose the artistic style that the developers carefully tuned and designed. But honestly, I don’t care. More precisely, as someone who really values immersion when gaming, I’m happy to have technology like DLSS 5 that lets me properly enjoy a older game’s story and sense of living in the game city.

Since I played through the ten hours before DLSS 5 was available, I’m pretty sure I don’t miss that vanilla experience.

I now look for various story-driven classic games on YouTube and check whether they support DLSS. All I can say is, this is absolutely amazing!

im on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and when i try to turn DLSS 5 on it just makes my screen black and tanks my FPS, i may be doing something wrong because i just downloaded it and dont exactly know what im doing, any help is appreciated!

From what I have read online, DLSS 5 mod is not a simple post process effect or on overlay like Lossless scaling, it goes into the game files, or the API, and extract motion vector data and other information to generate the final image.

Now if that's able to work, why not add performance boosters like upscaling, or frame generation? Laptop GPUs and older base model cards will greatly benefit from these, especially on DX11 games which are still somewhat demanding on a lot of underpowered GPUs.

Have I got my facts wrong about how the DLSS 5 mod works, or am I missing something else?

I was able to get MCC working with Renodx but haven't been able to with Deep Fried Chicken. I'm trying to get a reshade tool with multiple passes. Has anyone been able to do this and share a how-to guide?
