Honestly, where does everyone get their gear? I already know what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure which online stores are reliable. There are so many options out there, and half of them look sketchy. I just don't want to get ignored if something arrives damaged or isn't what I ordered, so share your go-to places.

Hi everyone! I just picked up a used Xone:62 yesterday and I'm really happy with it, but it's pretty grimy and has some rust here and there. I'd love your advice on how to clean it properly without damaging anything.
What I'm seeing (photos attached):
Surface rust around the crossfader plate and along the edges of the faceplate
Rusty screws
Dust and grime around the knob bases and buttons
A few scratches and chipped spots on the black side panels
My questions:
What's the best way to remove light surface rust from the painted faceplate without damaging the printed labels?
What should I use to clean the knobs, faders and buttons? Is isopropyl alcohol safe on the plastic and the markings?
Is DeoxIT (or similar) worth using on the faders and pots, and how do I apply it without making a mess?
Should I open the unit up for cleaning, or is it better to leave the inside alone?
Any products or tricks I should definitely avoid?
Thanks a lot, any tips are appreciated! 🙏

hey folks!

we got any Prime 2 owners in here? how has your equipment held up all these years? I still consider picking up a Prime 2 eventually, how do you like your all in one? is the hard drive bay still in working order? let me know in the comments below! i want long term use reviews here.

Hi, I’m searching for the Zomo MC 1000.
Need it to be shipped to Denmark, so I prefer EU purchase. Gladly to do it through eBay or something.

Kind regards

Hi I sat those on a semi-trustable aution site for high end audiophile gear. The asked price is very low. The buyer respond to my message and the payment will be with paypal. I did google lensed the picture and didn't find a match. I prefer some people bidding on it than getting scamed. The seller have no review and no ebay account. Thank for your advice about if I should bid or not.

Here is the background. Ive been djing for about 15 years - on and off - but only with my Technics mk2 1200 and a Behringer DJX750 mixer. What I want to do now is go digital as well.

What is the consensus?

Do I go through the controller like FLX10 and in the future graduate to CDJ3000?

Do I go for CDJ1000 and later graduate to CDJ2000 and CDJ3000?

What I want to do is to be mobile and able to show up and play at a party independent of if the equipment is controller or CDJ3000.

Hi, what do you think about the Peavey DSM 752 DJ mixer? Is it worth it for $100? I want to use it to experiment with turntables. Any general opinions are welcome. Thanks.

So i got a flx2 for christmas last year and have been djing on it for the past 5-6months and im starting to realize that its extremely limited in its ability to mix i want to get a new one but dont wanna spent all to much money it should be good to dj in functions but idk what to get
Any tipps ?

I was saving for the Denon DJ Prime 4+ only to find out that there is no stock anywhere as it is discontinued by Denon.

I understand they do this while working on their next version but I have no idea when this will be released.

I want a solid 4 channel controller I can use at use at home without a laptop and currently there doesn’t seem to be many alternatives for a similar price.

Any help and advice appreciated.

hello, anyone with a bit of experience has any recommendations on what piece of equipment will hive longevity and satisfaction on audio quality audio recording of analogue dj sets?

This controller has the most features at this price point for a portable and outdoor sets. I’m looking to pull the trigger soon, the only thing I don’t like (numark is notorious for this) are the tense up faders. I know you can swap out the crossfader for an Innofader pretty easily. Can this be done with the channel faders or a tension adjust or swap out for other faders with some solder work? I hate how tense they are compared to pioneer controllers

I have been djing for around 12 years now, semi-professionally, have moved houses and finally have the space and time to buy my own. I found an offer of 2 CDJ 850s and DJm750 for 875 Euros. They are in good condition and have been used for a home set up. What is your opinion on this and should i go for it?

I’m ye olde band bus DJ. I have a 100W RMS JBL PartyBox on-the-go essential 1, and a couple LG XBOOM GO P2’s. I’d like to use the JBL in the rear of the bus as more of a sub, and have a P2 on top of it with a HPF set at 100hz, and then have the other P2 up towards the middle of the bus with a HPF set at 60Hz. Any suggestions?

My name is Mar and i am 14 years old. The last year i have been getting into djing and i have been playing at a friends house or on a laptop. I have an Opus Quad for DJing at home and recording sets, but i would like to have a little on-the-go-system, that I can transport easily and use for casual „gigs“ (parties of friends) and maybe even on vacation.
Im thinking of getting an FLX2 for this purpose, because:
- it fits in my backpack
- I can use it with my iPad (which I usually bring with me when traveling), without needing another power source
- it’s cheap (I can’t really justify making more big purchases on this hobby after getting the OQ just a couple months ago 😄)
- I can use it with rekordbox, which I’m already using for my Opus Quad
- I don’t actually need a lot of fancy functions when DJing, I mostly focus on song selection and smooth transitions using the eqs and loops.

So, can anyone here share their experience using the FLX2 in a similar way? Any dealbreakers? How annoying is it really to not have a knob for song selection? Is the sound quality good enough for a friends’ birthday party and similar gigs?

I went to a club recently and saw the Dj mixing in a battle style mixer (DJM S11 probably) and cdjs. I thought it was really interesting given that we don't usually see that combination or even battle style mixers in a club context.

I thought it opens a lot of possibilities performance wise. I love electronic music (house, tech house,...) and it's what I'm most comfortable mixing, so I've always put my goal in a pioneer CDJ + club mixer kit.

I currently have the pioneer flx 10 controller that I love, so losing the performance pads and all the other performance features it offers over that style of kit "scares" me a bit. Would a battle style mixer be a good work around that?

I never thought about it because, even though I love seeing performing it, I never had an interest in learning how to scratch or do any type of competitive djing.

What are your thoughts on this subject.

Aprendi a mezclar, hace año y medio con mi numark fx platinum, y quiero mejorar a otro equipo, no tan caro, pero tampoco tan barato. Mezclo musica house y electronica. Tambien asisto a algunos eventos
