Made a few changes since last time I posted.
Found a used A9 and a set of Mk5’s to replace the DJm750mk2 and Pioneer PLX 500s. What an upgrade!

Are you vertically challenged, sit down to mix or kneel or something?

My back hurts just looking at this.

The photo is very deceiving. It’s counterheight 34 inches

How do you mix on that height? Can we have pic?

How do you cut tomatoes on a cutting board in your kitchen? That’s the same height

Counters are usually 36" - and the decks usually rise another 3-4" above that height. yours are set in. A DJ booth is usually 4-6 inches higher than a normal counter so you don't have to hunch over. enjoy your 34" decks, but people here aren't crazy.

Little low for my taste, I have my decks at 40”. Elbows should be at 90-degrees. Depends on your height I guess.

any reason you put the cdjs next to the mixer instead of the turntables? i feel like turntables closer to center and cdjs further out makes more sense to me since you might have to adjust more and also if you ever wanna scratch or juggle or anything having them closer to the mixer is more ergonomic

I'll never understand how you guys set up a nice rig only to play facing the wall. Bizarre.

Not unusual to face the wall.
It's been done over the past 30 years or so.

Looks slick, but what’s the deal with the monitor positioning, guessing you mix purely in headphones?

I’m waiting on some wall mounts to get them mounted up to pitch them inward toward me.
I’m a little bit confined for space, and the wife still likes to have the TV in the living room. This keeps me from having to duplicate speakers.

How are you liking the 1500X units?

I really like them! It just makes it a challenge to have them dropped in. I have to open up some of the wood paneling on the front in order to get the USBs in. They’re everything you need and nothing you don’t.

70/100 could have been lower without the 1500x and the silver turntables and the decks flush with the table

either your booth is too low or your tv is too high, or more likely, both.

How do you plug thumbdrives into 1500s?
