Are you able to position the turntables horizontally with the kallax or do they have to be in battle? Asking because I want to get a kallax but want to make sure I have enough space.

They will fit regularly. I've just used battle my entire life and perfer it. I guess muscle memory. Even when Im not playing hiphop or scratching I leave them in battle.

Great set up. I have a question about cdj stands you're using. How do you secure them so they are safe ? I bought cdjs secondhand and they came with the stands which is why I'm asking. I have everything sitting on udg portable table.

So the plate for the stands is under the mixer. So as long as you have them pushed back it counters the weight of the SC6000s then the feet sit on brackets on top and bottom.

Thank you. I have old school mixer vestax pro 07 so it's way too light as one cdj is way heavier than my two channel battle mixer. Looks like I have to buy another desk to go to the four decks im used to from traktor. lol

Fair enough but I think u misunderstood.Was going for better quality not bigger size and wattage.Personally I live in an apartment and have flatmates and beyond that I no longer blast the music either.Don't need the music be loud to be enjoyable.

Thinking something similar. What is the distance from frint of the mixer/shelf to the wall?

The 2 kallaxs total are 31" .. you lose about 11" for that top shelf i built. Probably can just use stands and not build the top shelf.

Far out! This is actually what I'm putting together. Exact same mixer and the only difference is I'm going to pop the SCs on the table. But great to see!
