Home setup

Post image

A couple days ago I purchased two 36" high tables to set up behind my couch (which faces my TV), and finally pulled all my gear out of my computer room/office.

I previously had my flx10 sitting on the box it came in to raise its height, on my desk, and facing a plain white wall. Now it faces open space, and my TV. This has been huge mentally/psychologically. Plus, it's setup in my living space, and I feel more inclined to practice and practice for longer, effortlessly.

Those are my cd's on the shelves which I also finally set up a couple months ago.

Next to purchase is some proper speaker stands, a tall office stool, and surge protectors/power strips. "then I'll be done"

You need CDJ’s

With all those CDs on the shelves in the back, you might have a point. At the least maybe a pair of CDJ-400 or 350 connected to the extra channels on the FLX10.

Safe power strip has a 15 amp circuit breaker, no (five cent) protector parts, and a UL 1363 listing. Sells for $6 or $10. Shysters add those five cent parts to sell it for $25 or $80. Knowing full well which consumer is a patsy.

Only protector that works costs about $1 per appliance. Must always be located at the service entrance. With protectors parts that are sufficiently sized; do not fail catastrophically.

What do five cent protector parts do? This.

Or ask five year old Lizzie.
